The questions candidates actually ask

Do you have current live vacancies?+

We always want to hear from strong candidates — apprentices, trainees, qualified accountants, tax advisors and senior fee-earners — even between formally advertised roles. If the fit is right we will make a role for the right person. Please send a CV and short note through the contact form.

Do you support study for AAT, ACA, ACCA or CTA?+

Yes. Study support is a core part of our offer — we fund exam fees, provide paid study leave and pair every studier with a senior mentor. AAT for apprentices, ACA / ACCA for graduates and trainees, and CTA for accountants who want to specialise in tax.

I've qualified elsewhere — is there room to move here?+

Yes. Semi-seniors, seniors, tax advisors and managers can all join Cranleys and quickly own a specialist portfolio. Coming from a general practice into a specialist firm often accelerates your career — you go deep on property, HNW, medical, dental or veterinary work rather than sampling everything.

Do you offer hybrid / flexible working?+

Where the role allows, yes. Client-facing roles need some office and client-site time, but hybrid arrangements are the norm for most roles and we're deliberately small enough to be sensible about it.

How real is the route to partner?+

Real. Cranleys is actively growing and open to promoting from within as well as bringing in senior fee-earners on a partner track. If you're building a specialist book, we'll build a buy-in path around you.

Do you take on interns or work experience placements?+

Case-by-case. We occasionally take on students for short structured placements, especially where there's a strong interest in property or specialist tax. Get in touch with a CV and a paragraph on what you want to learn.
